Im Oktober 2010 gewann JMT den dritten Platz beim Jazzwettbewerb "Jugend jazzt" des Landesmusikrates, während Julian Moehring als Solo Pianist den ersten Platz erreichte.weitere Informationen über Julian Moehring...EnglishJulian Moehring Trio (JMT) is a German jazz band with influences of Latin-American music, bebop and pop music as well.Julian Ronceros Moehring (*February 3, 1993 in Lörrach, Germany) acts as pianist, singer, composer and songwriter. He got his first piano lesson at the age of six. Three years later he won the first price of the local classical piano competition “Jugend musiziert”.2009 he got a grant for vocal studies at the voice academy “Voicelab Lörrach”. At the moment, his piano teacher is Lester Menezes, his vocal coach Micahel Janz.In 2010, Julian Moehring took part at Litchfield Jazz Camp in Conneticut, USA. He was teached by jazz musicians like Avery Sharpe (b) and Cladio Roditti (trump) and got masterclasses with Onaje Allan Gumbs (p), Helen Sung (p) und Carla Cook (voice). In July 2010, JMT played in front of 800 people as opener for Randy Crawford (voice), Joe Sample (piano), David Sanborn (sax), Joye de Francesco (organ) and Steve Gadd (drums) at Jazzopen Stuttgart, one of the most famous jazz festivals in Germany.In October 2010, JMT got the third price at jazz competition "Jugend jazzt", while Julian Moehring himself made the first price as solo pianist.
